Restitution, Provenance and Decolonial Approaches in Transcultural Collaboration

On 18 and 19 May 2026, the Ethnological Museum Berlin, in collaboration with the German International Ethnographic Film Festival (GIEFF e. V.), invited to the “Slices of Life” (SoL) Ethno-Film Days at the Dahlem Research Campus (FCD).

In the presence of filmmakers from Nepal, Congo, Sudan, Fiji/USA, Grenada/Denmark, Brazil/Germany and Nigeria/UK, eight films from four continents and three films presenting current collaborative projects of the Ethnological Museum will be screened and discussed.
