Internship
The GIEFF is looking for motivated interns who would like to gain insight into the organisation and implementation of an international film festival.
Areas of activity include:
- Event management and on-site festival support
- Production and editing of information and visual materials
- Communication via social media
- Screening, presentation, and support of film programs
- Assistance for visiting filmmakers
Your profile:
- You are a student of social and cultural anthropology or a related subject.
- You are interested in cultural management and documentary film.
- You are interested in how people shape their lives and how this is represented in film.
What is important to us:
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexibility and reliability
- Good command of English
- Solid computer skills; experience with media and image editing is an advantage
- Writing biographies, news items, calendar announcements and social media posts, and conducting the necessary research.
- Working with audiovisual and promotional materials, including photo and film clip editing
- Providing assistance with organisation and marketing activities before the festival.
- Assisting during the festival with admission, photography, screenings and guest support.
Internship period:
- From mid-February 2026, with an intensive phase in May during the festival.
- Duration: approx. 120 hours, with flexible scheduling based on requirements.
